Vllaznim Xhiha is co-founder of the company (originally named Newave SA) and has been a member of the Board of Directors since 1993. He was further appointed Chairman of the Board of Directors in June 2010. He acted as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Newave Group from 1993 to October 2009 and has again acted as CEO on an ad interim basis in July 2010 until December 2010. Mr Xhiha began his professional career as an assistant and lecturer at the Technical Institute of Technology of Prishtina (1976 to 1980). From 1981 to 1985, he was a member of the supervising engineers for the construction of the water treatment plant and water distribution network for the town of Prishtina. In 1985, he joined the UPS manufacturer Invertomatic SA (today GEDE), where in 1991 he advanced to Sales and Marketing Manager.
Mr Xhiha holds a master’s degree in electrical engineering from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Zurich (ETH).

Rudolf Kägi was appointed as a member of the Board of Directors in May 2007 and acts as Vice-Chairman of the Board. He has been a member of the Board of Directors of Schulthess Group AG since 1995 and Chairman since 2000. Mr Kägi began his professional career in 1963 as an electrical technician at Schulthess Maschinen AG, where he became Head of Research and Development and member of the management in 1984. In 1991, he was appointed Chief Executive Officer of Schulthess Maschinen AG. From 1995 to 2006 he served as Chief Executive Officer of Schulthess Group AG. He was educated as a technical draughtsman and holds a degree as a designer and electrical technician.

Hans-Peter Diener works as an independent executive management consultant. Since November 2007, Mr Diener has been a member of the group management at Bellevue Group, and CEO of Bellevue Asset Management Ltd. Prior to this capacity, he worked for WMH Walter Meier Holding AG (1995 to 2006), where he was Chief Executive Officer from 2004 to 2006, and from 1995 to 2003 CEO and member of the Executive Board of WMH Air Conditioning. Before joining WMH he worked as a member of group management of Saurer AG (1991 to 1995), Distral (1990 to 1991) and Jacobs Suchard (1984 to 1989). Mr Diener is an executive member of the Harvard Club of Switzerland. He holds a master’s degree in engineering from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Zurich (ETH) as well as an MBA from Harvard Business School.

Mauro Saladini was appointed member of the Board of Directors in May 2007. Mr Saladini has been Executive Vice-President and Chief Financial Officer of Kudelski SA since 2003. He began his professional career as a financial service consultant at Accenture in 1990. From 1995 to 1996, he worked with Thema Consulting, where he set up the company’s Zurich branch. In 1997, he joined McKinsey & Company, where he became a partner in 2001. Mr Saladini holds a master’s degree in electrical engineering from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Zurich (ETH) as well as an MBA from INSEAD.
Mauro Saladini is a member of the Board of Directors of OpenTV. He is also a member of the Supervisory Board of SkiData (a subsidiary of Kudelski SA).

Friedhelm Loh was appointed member of the Board of Directors in April 2009. In 1974, Mr Loh took over the management of the companies founded by his father, Rudolf Loh. In 1989, Friedhelm Loh Stiftung & Co. KG was founded, and Friedhelm Loh became the owner and Chairman of the Board of the Friedhelm Loh Group (F.L.G.). The Friedhelm Loh Group is an international brand and technology leader in many branches of industry. Mr Marbach holds a master’s degree in electrical engineering from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Zurich (ETH).
